UMBRAGROUP on track for Sustainability!
A section of the 40 km Spoleto–Norcia Cycle Path cleaned by 50 UMBRAGROUP employees.
Today, Friday, March 31st, around 50 UMBRAGROUP employees, together with top management, dedicated their working morning to cleaning part of the 40 km currently accessible along the former Spoleto–Norcia Railway.
The initiative was organized in collaboration with the Gaia Rafting Association to help protect what is now considered one of the most scenic cycle paths in Italy, declared in 2001 a site of significant historical and artistic interest by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage.
It was a morning spent surrounded by nature along the Spoleto–Norcia Cycle Path, inaugurated by the Deputy Mayor of Norcia and Regional Councillor Enrico Melasecche Germini. The objective was to actively contribute and intervene whenever issues affect assets of historical and artistic relevance, as in the case of this extraordinary route.
As Sara Ortolani, UMBRAGROUP’s CEO of Health, Safety & Environment, commented:
