Perugia, 16 December 2025 – UMBRAGROUP signs a strategic agreement with Leonardo as part of the"Growing Together" program
UMBRAGROUP takes a new step in its development and innovation path by signing an industrial collaboration agreement with Leonardo, a global leader in the aerospace, defense and security sector. The signing took place at the headquarters of the Umbria Region in Perugia, together with two other realities of excellence in the area: Fucine Umbre and Meccanotecnica Umbra.
The agreement is part of the "Growing Together" programme, promoted by Leonardo's Helicopters Division, with the aim of strengthening the national production chain, reducing dependence on foreign supplies and enhancing Italian technological skills.
Within this framework, UMBRAGROUP assumes a strategic role, contributing to the development and production of critical components for Leonardo civil helicopters. In particular, the agreement provides for the supply of bearings for helicopter transmissions, elements with a high engineering content and fundamental for the performance and safety of aircraft.
To support this new production line, UMBRAGROUP has already launched targeted investments in advanced technologies and embarked on a path of extension of aeronautical certifications, further consolidating its standards of quality and reliability.
