UMBRAGROUP has obtained EMAR/FR Part 145 approval, a certification issued by the DSAÉ (Direction de la Sécurité de l'Aviation d'État), the French Military Aviation Authority, in compliance with the requirements applicable to the maintenance of aeronautical components intended for use in the Defense sector. The approval covers the support and overhaul activities of the H160 LGA actuators supplied to Airbus Helicopters and used in governmental operations, particularly by the French National Gendarmerie.
Achieving this certification marks an important milestone for UMBRAGROUP, strengthening the Group’s position in the Defense MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) market. The approval enables the company to certify maintained components through the issuance of EMAR Form 1, an essential requirement for operating on this type of platform and program across Europe.
