UMBRAGROUP awarded by EY as global industrial excellence

Yesterday, in the splendid setting of Assisi, UMBRAGROUP was honored with the award for “Industrial Excellence in the World” as part of the EY Private Roadshow 2026, an initiative dedicated to highlighting Italian entrepreneurial excellence and its contribution to the country’s economic and social growth.

The recognition was awarded to Beatrice Baldaccini, Group Chief People Officer & VP of the Board of Directors of UMBRAGROUP, and to Leonardo Baldaccini, President of the Group’s U.S. companies and member of the Board of Directors, for their contribution to the development of an Umbrian industrial company capable of asserting itself in high-tech international markets, enhancing engineering expertise, manufacturing quality, and innovation.

UMBRAGROUP stood out for leading the growth of an industrial group able to successfully compete on a global scale in the aerospace, defense, and advanced engineering sectors, while also promoting the value of the Umbrian region worldwide.

The event, organized by EY—global leader in audit and accounting organization services, tax and legal assistance, transaction advisory, and consulting—and by EY Private, EY’s dedicated business unit, represented an important opportunity to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing the Italian entrepreneurial system, with particular focus on strategic topics such as innovation, artificial intelligence, and generational transition.
