UMBRAGROUP and Social Responsibility: the bust of General Gonzaga has been restored

The monument was inaugurated this morning at the barracks of the same name, with the presence of UMBRAGROUP’s Leadership

This morning, at the Flag‑Raising Square of the Gonzaga Barracks in Foligno, the restored bust of the General from whom the Barracks takes its name was unveiled.
General Ferrante Vincenzo Gonzaga Del Vodice, whose 80th anniversary of death is commemorated today, was awarded the Medal of Military Valor and bore witness—through his ultimate sacrifice—to the most important value: Respect.

UMBRAGROUP, represented by its Leadership at the official ceremony, sponsored the restoration of the monument, unquestionably one of the historical symbols of the city of Foligno.
It is an honor for us to contribute and stand alongside the institutions in preserving the historical memory of our city.

“Why did UMBRAGROUP support this initiative? Because one of the Values that guides us is Social Responsibility,” said Eng. Reno Ortolani, Chairman of the UMBRAGROUP Board of Directors, during his speech.
“At UMBRAGROUP, we have our Values Manifesto, and we make it a habit to recall it on every occasion involving many of our colleagues, so that it is never forgotten. The two most important Values are Respect and Social Function.”
