UMBRAGROUP announces the appointment of Jon Woodruff as Chief Operating Officer of UMBRAGROUP US, effective May 5, 2026.
This appointment is part of the Group’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its operational leadership in the United States, a key market for the development and consolidation of UMBRAGROUP’s motion solutions across the aerospace and industrial sectors.
Jon joins UMBRAGROUP with a strong background in aerospace operations, with experience spanning key areas including manufacturing engineering, program management, material planning, and supply chain. Throughout his career, he has successfully led complex, multi-site organizations, achieving significant results in terms of operational performance and profitability growth.
Prior to joining UMBRAGROUP, Jon Woodruff held leadership positions at leading international aerospace companies, including Triumph Group and Curtiss-Wright Corporation.
In his new role, Jon will be responsible for leading and further developing operational activities across UMBRAGROUP’s U.S. sites, with the objective of strengthening operational excellence, supporting the Group’s long-term growth objectives, and reinforcing UMBRAGROUP’s positioning in terms of quality, reliability, and customer value.
