Great success for the 4th edition of “A Goal for Valter”!
AC Perugia Calcio triumphs in the tournament dedicated to Valter Baldaccini
The Under‑13 football tournament “A Goal for Valter” took place on Thursday, August 29, and Friday, August 30 at the newly inaugurated Valter Baldaccini Municipal Stadium in Cannara.
The event, organized by ASD Cannara in collaboration with UMBRAGROUP and the Valter Baldaccini Foundation, was held under the patronage of the Municipality of Cannara. Two days marked by fair play, teamwork, and friendship celebrated the Values, passion, and love of Valter Baldaccini, Founder of UMBRAGROUP, for the game of football and for his hometown, Cannara.
This year, six teams competed for the top spot in the tournament:
ASD Cannara
Terni Football Club
A.C. Perugia Calcio
ASD Calcio Palazzo
AC Fulgens Foligno
U.S. Tolentino 1919
In the end, it was A.C. Perugia Calcio that claimed the first‑place trophy, followed by Terni Football Club in second place and U.S. Tolentino 1919 in third.
The 100 young players taking part in the tournament displayed exemplary sportsmanship and respect, perfectly in line with the spirit of the event—values that, for all of us, should know no age!
Standing out above all in terms of fair play, and winning the dedicated award, was the team from Terni Football Club, which, despite a hard‑fought final loss to A.C. Perugia Calcio, consistently showed respect for their opponents. Congratulations to all for giving us strong emotions once again in this 4th edition of A Goal for Valter.
