THE CHALLENGE

UMBRAGROUP's history in the production of bearings dates back to its birth and to the consolidated partnership with a world leader in the sector. Achieving very high quality standards has become an absolute priority, not only in terms of product but also of service and process.

THE PROJECT

This project stems from the need to guarantee the customer levels of On-Time Delivery close to 100% and to internally develop the ability to react to an unstable market and the consequent needs of our partners. This has resulted in a profound review of corporate processes across the various entities.

THE ACHIEVEMENTS

The path we took at the beginning of 2020 was the result of a restructuring already underway that allowed us to acquire new Lean Production skills. It has generated consistent and measurable results in terms of stock reduction and work in progress, responsiveness to customer requests, On-Time Delivery and, last but not least, a degree of resilience that has allowed us to allows hit our targets even during the pandemic.
