Yesterday, at the Flag‑Raising Square of the Gonzaga Barracks in Foligno, the restored bust of the General from whom the Barracks takes its name was inaugurated.
General Ferrante Vincenzo Gonzaga Del Vodice—whose 80th anniversary of death was commemorated on September 8—was awarded the Medal of Military Valor and, through his ultimate sacrifice, embodied the most important value: Respect.
UMBRAGROUP, represented by its Leadership at the official inauguration ceremony, sponsored the restoration of the sculpture, undoubtedly one of the historic symbols of the city of Foligno. It is an honor to contribute and to stand alongside the institutions to preserve the historical memory of our city.
