UMBRAGROUP at Women in Aerospace PNAA

We are proud to have supported the 13th annual Women in Aerospace, organized by the Pacific Northwest Aerospace Alliance (PNAA).

Representing the Group at the event was Kathy Moodie, Senior Advisor of UMBRAGROUP US, who participated in a panel discussion, sharing UMBRAGROUP’s perspective and contribution on key topics shaping the future of the industry.

The event brought together over 270 players from across different segments of the sector, providing a comprehensive overview of an industry experiencing strong growth and transformation. The discussions highlighted not only the breadth of future opportunities, but also the increasing need for organizations to deliver excellence and reliability in an evolving global context.

Kathy Moodie actively contributed to the conversation by presenting UMBRAGROUP’s case during the panel dedicated to a key theme: “staying true to your values while striving for excellence.” This was an opportunity to share the legacy of our founder, Valter Baldaccini, and the role of the FIRST values, which continue to guide the Group in fostering a culture based on integrity, accountability, and recognition of people.

Beyond the technical and business content, the conference once again demonstrated the true strength of the Aerospace community. Supporting initiatives like Women in Aerospace means not only promoting inclusion and creating opportunities for future generations, but also supporting tangible actions that give back to the community, such as fundraising and donation initiatives. This is a core principle at UMBRAGROUP, where we believe that innovation and leadership are driven by people, and that building an inclusive and collaborative environment is essential for sustainable long-term growth.
