A morning of networking with one of our local excellences
Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming to our headquarters, UMBRAGROUP S.p.A., Brigadier General Vincenzo Spanò, Colonel Davide Luigi Valente, Lieutenant Colonel Francesco De Donno, Lieutenant Colonel Mauro Mercuri, and First Warrant Officer Elvio Rubio, representing the Gonzaga Barracks of Foligno. They were welcomed by Eng. Matteo Notarangelo, CEO of UMBRAGROUP, Eng. Reno Ortolani, Chairman of the UMBRAGROUP Board of Directors, and Dr. Beatrice Baldaccini, Vice Chairwoman of the Board.
It was a morning of exchange and mutual understanding, during which we shared our story, our Values, the central role of our People, as well as our perspectives and future challenges.
The meeting was also an opportunity to tour our production facility.
This important moment of networking with an excellence of our region allowed us to further explore the history and mission of the Gonzaga Barracks, which since 1996 has also served as the Army’s sole institution responsible for the Selection and Recruitment of young people pursuing careers in the Italian Army.
We also recalled the celebrations that will take place this year, marking the 150th anniversary of the signing of the agreement between the Ministry of War and the Municipality of Foligno, which initiated the construction of the Barracks.
